Observations Mural
All nine (9) metal mural panels are currently in restoration by original artistDana Donaty at the Arts Warehouse. The restoration is made possible by funding provided by the DDA and Delray Beach CRA; with administration by Pineapple Grove Art Board. The CRA’s Arts Warehouse is hosting Dana Donaty as Artist in Residence for 4 months in its artist studios.
The panels were removed from the original installation at Delray Camera Shop (186 NE 2nd Avenue); will undergo a 4-month restoration (cleaning, repair, restoration and repainting) and then be reinstalled late October, 2021 or November, 2021 at the Camera Shop’s new location (217 NE 4th Avenue). Metal panels will be augmented by additional painting by Dana Donaty on the new building to complete the new “2021 Observations” mural.

‘Observations’ was inspired by native flora and fauna at Author R. Loxahatchee National Wildlife Refuge in the Everglades. Donaty’s signature style of composing a highly energized composition nearly bursting at the seams is on full display in her idealized portrayal of an Everglades scene.
‘Observations’ was the inaugural mural of the Pineapple Grove Arts District Artscape Program, Delray Beach.
Generous support and funding by Pineapple Grove Main Street, Inc., a Reimbursement Grant from Palm Beach County GO Parks & Cultural Improvement, Pineapple Grove Main Street Board Members, Chris Reich, Claudio Camilucci and the local community.
