On the corner of West Atlantic and SW 2nd Avenue, on the South County Courthouse’s north lawn, the large sculptural “Pineapple Bench” was created with handmade ceramic tile and metal. Throughout the plaza, over 10 hand painted ceramic tile bench tops and 8 bench wall exteriors were created to portray community landmarks, ocean scenes, and agricultural bounty.
